We know we’re living in times of collapse: forests going up in flames, towns flooding, democratic institutions caving to oligarchic, rightwing authoritarianism. You already know this; you're living it.
This free talk is not about naming what's breaking down. It's about an antidote: ancient spiritual and cultural practices that can hold us through this unraveling and help us birth a world rooted in sacred reciprocity, animism, and radical belonging.
Shamanic journeying is one of the oldest tools human beings have used to navigate crisis and transformation. It is a direct, accessible practice for connecting with the living world around us, and with the wisdom that lives inside us, grounded in the understanding that every Being on this Earth carries inherent dignity and worth.
In this talk, we'll explore what shamanism is and how it travels across cultures, what shamanic journeying actually looks and feels like (including a guided experience), and what Sacred Circle Ways offer us as a framework for rebuilding cultures that aren't organized around domination.
If you are looking for…
A spiritual path born in and shaped by the sacredness of the natural world — one that encourages love and care for all creatures, and offers a way to unlearn the worldview of domination that has justified colonialism, the destruction of the natural world, patriarchy and racism;
Spiritual practices rooted in direct relationship with Helping Spirits and spirits of nature, unmediated by any authority figure, relationships that can sustain and even heal in these challenging times;
Like-minded people who are exhausted by systems and cultures rooted in blame and division (including some forms of activism), and who are ready to help build something rooted in sacred reciprocity instead…
